It does not fit the furnace as it seems to be too THICK. I could not find any filter that is less than 1" thick. Is there any way I can fit the ultra allergen filter (I bought the carboard frame type). Is it possible to remove the carboard frame, will it still work? The thickness 1" seems to be the problem, how do I work around it?
